Dana Air has joined the train of companies offering customer care on Whatsapp so that their customers can easily reach them when they have enquiries, complaints or whatever it is that they may have to say to them.
Offering customer care services on Whatsapp has become a growing trend as different firms in different fields have started joining this trend. Earlier this month, I wrote about MTN making five (5) numbers available for this purpose of customer care so that their customers can reach them on Whatsapp.
With this introduction by Dana airline, customers would be able to easily contact them and make enquiries about flight schedule, flight cancellation and so on. I recently had a flight cancelled (on another airline though) and I had to spend money calling their customer care line. I spent lots of minutes waiting for a customer care agent to respond to me and after waiting for what seemed like eternity, I finally got someone to attend to me only for me to be told to go to the airport to get a refund or have the flight booking details changed to another route. The availability of a Whatsapp customer care line would have made life easier for everybody because I would only have to send about 2 or 3 Whatsapp messages, which won’t even cost me 1kb of data to tell them what I need and they would have had to respond with just about the same number of messages as well.
So, to make life easier for everyone, Dana Air has introduced their own Whatsapp customer care line and the number is
All you have to do is to save the number in your phone contacts and then refresh your list of contacts in Whatsapp and the number should be available for you to chat with.
