Innjoo Max 2 and Innjoo Max 2 Plus phones are part of the latest products from Innjoo phones, a firm that has been taking a good bite of their own from the mobile phone market pie of Nigeria. They have also released these products into the market at prices that are very affordable  especially when you consider the kind of “wowful” configuration available on the phones compared to their prices.

Both phones are a joy to behold when you look at them physically and with a diagonal screen size of 5.0 inches on the Innjoo Max 2 and 5.5 inches on the Innjoo Max 2 Plus, both phones provide a large screen real estate for you to play around with. That simply means you won’t be making the mistake of touching screen elements that you don’t intend to touch just because you want to touch something else beside it.

The strongest point of the phones are the cameras. They are both equipped with a front and rear camera, which judging by the MegaPixel rating are on the high side. The rear camera, which is the main camera is rated at 13MP, while the front camera is rated at a whooping 8MP. That is the rating of the main camera on a lot of other phones, and that means you would be taking selfies of high quality and you don’t have to be afraid about taking selfies that would pixelate when you try to zoom in. The rear camera is also equipped with dual flash, which would give you a higher light intensity when taking pictures or using the flash light as a torch.

When you place the two(2) phones side-by-side, the first thing that stands out is the difference in the screen size. The Innjoo Max 2 has a 5.0 inch screen, while the Innjoo Max 2 Plus has a 5.5 inch screen.

Another major difference is in the power of the battery in each phone. The Innjoo Max 2 has a 4000mAh battery, while the Innjoo Max 2 Plus has a 4600mAh, which is able to give 410 hours standby, 16.5 hours of phone call, 14 hours of music playing and 7 hours of video playback, and on top of that, both phones are equipped with fast-charging capability and that means the phone would charge quickly for you to be able to use for long hours.

Dedicated Servers from Liquid Web

They are both equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which for the price is very good. However, where I have a problem is the fact that both phones have a RAM of 1GB only. I would have expected them to have a RAM of 1.5GB at least or even 2GB. Though this does not stop one from enjoying the phones, but a higher RAM would have meant that the processor would have more RAM to work with and therefore the phones would have been faster.

They are both dual-SIM phones and also have Android Lollipop 5.1 running on them, which in itself is loaded with lots of features that you may never fully explore. Innjoo has however made custom modifications to the operating system and they’ve christened it InnUI.

Take nothing away from this phone, it is a “machine” especially when you consider the price that you’ll be paying for it. As at today, the Innjoo Max 2 costs eighteen thousand five hundred and fifty naira (₦18,550) only. You can order yours now by clicking here.

In conclusion, the two(2) phones are almost the same thing. The aspects in which both phones are different are just

So, which one should I choose?

As stated in the conclusion above, the major difference between the two phones is just the screen size. So, if you are like me and you want your phone screen to be as large as possible, then the Innjoo Max 2 Plus is your phone. However, if you don’t want a phablet (phone tablet), then just go for the Innjoo Max 2.
