Managing blogging and keeping up with other things have never been easy but yet you must keep doing what you love doing. Blogging is very rewarding. It is not just about trying to make money from it. There is a joy in it in which only a blogger with passion for it can feel.
Q: Tell the readers a little about yourself and your blog(s)
I’m Kaesy Nwosu, a Nigerian by Nationality and a 19 year old computer engineering student of University of Benin, Edo State. I’m born into a family of 3 and I grew up with the mind set of being a computer geek. Now I am trying to live up to that.
Q: How long have you been blogging and how did you get started?
I’ve been blogging for about three years now. I started blogging on a lowkey with an entertainment blog after about one year I decided to upgrade to something bigger. I decided to launch a new entertainment blog. I started www.nanvibez.com which I’m currently running with my partner Nelson Akpama on blogger platform. On the 1st of January 2015 I decided to kick-off with my personal tech blog which focuses mainly on tech news, tutorials and reviews so I started www.techroid.org which is running on wordpress.
Q: Is your blog a hobby or your profession?
Blogging is my main hobby which I am really working day and night to make it my profession.
Q: I know quite well that you are a student, how do you manage both academic work and blogging?
This has been my main challenge I have faced blogging. I try to setup a time table for myself whereby I don’t mix studying time with blogging time so I think I have been able to fight this challenge.
Q: What is the main goal or purpose of your blog?
The main goal of my blog is to teach bloggers, inspire them, and make them strive harder by passing to them blogging tips and tutorials through my blog posts.
Q: What secrets would you pass on to aspiring bloggers?
As an upcoming blogger being too money conscious is definitely going to bring you down and you may eventually quit blogging. So I will advice for a start focus on developing your blog to world standard.
Q: Which blogger(s) do you look up to as source of inspiration?
Uhmmm, I won’t really say I look up to any one but I will say my main source of inspiration since I started blogging is Godwin Togan of www.unibenblog.com and also a Mazino Oyolo Kigho of www.mazinoblog.com
Q: Will you ever quit blogging someday?
Quit blogging? till death do us part!!!
Q: What challenges do you face in blogging and how have you dealt with them?
My main challenge blogging as I stated earlier has been managing my time and mixing studies with blogging. Its not really easy but I have been able to conquer it.
Q: What annoying character do you dislike about some bloggers?
I dislike it when some bloggers feel superior over other bloggers. I see no difference between pro-bloggers and the upcoming ones, so why try to set a margin?
Q: What is the most painful experience have you encountered in your blogging career?
My most painful experience was working without getting paid, but I kept my eyes fixed on what the future hold.
Q: Where do you see yourself in the next seven years?
I picture myself as a share holder with microsoft.
